Our Accommodation

Tide House offers five fully self‑contained family flats, each designed to give you a safe, comfortable and private place to call home during your assessment. We want families to feel settled and at ease, with their own space to stay whilst they are in assessment. Our accommodation includes two one‑bedroom flats, two two‑bedroom flats and one three‑bedroom flat, allowing us to support families with up to four children. Every flat has its own living room, kitchen and dining area, bathroom and bedroom(s), so you will never be sharing your living space with other families.

Each flat is fully equipped with everything you need for day‑to‑day life, including an oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine, and all essential kitchenware and crockery. We provide fresh bedding and towels for every family, as well as new mattresses for babies. A wide range of baby and toddler equipment is available, such as cots, toddler beds, sterilisers, highchairs, Moses baskets and co‑sleeping cribs. We can also loan items like pushchairs, toys and playmats if needed. All utilities, including Wi‑Fi, are included in your stay. Emergency items—such as clothing, bottles or nappies—are available if required.

Our town‑centre location means you are close to shops, parks, healthcare services and other local amenities, helping you maintain a sense of normality and independence.

On‑site, we have comfortable office spaces where you can meet with staff, take part in work sessions or therapy, and speak with visiting professionals. We also have meeting rooms available for professionals to use, including facilities for hybrid meetings using video calling.

Families are welcome to use our large playroom, which is equipped with sofas, playmats and a wide range of toys, including sensory resources. This warm and welcoming space is ideal for family time.
